Article Abstract:

Low-doses of tissue plasminogen activator were administered to a 98-year old woman suffering from chest pains. Although untested on patients above 70 years old, the thrombolytic successfully prevented a heart attack and saved the woman's life.

Headache relief

Article Abstract:

A test drug, sumatriptan, has been found to effectively relieve headaches caused by migraine attacks. The drug does not worsen the nausea that goes with migraine and its analgesic effect can last as long as a day.

Treated bone coral has been successfully used in reconstructive bone surgery. Coral bones, which do not activate the body's immune and inflammation systems, have also been applied in facial plastic surgery.
