Article Abstract:

Wisconsin's southwest corner is home to numerous crafters, artists and other creative people. Among its most notable residents were architects Frank Lloyd Wright and Alex Jordan. The area is bounded by the Wisconsin and Mississippi rivers on two sides, Illinois on the south and State-23 on the east.

The wonders of winter

Article Abstract:

Winters are especially severe in Minnesota, but many of that state's residents really relish the winter and there are many activities planned each year that celebrate and take advantage of the weather. Paul Bunyan Country in the state's north central section is a winter paradise.

Tourists can get a glimpse of country life in the picturesque towns of Bellevue, Iowa; Arrow Rock, Missouri; and Council Grove, Kansas. Historical attractions and sights include the Hays House Restaurant, the Spring Side Inn, and the Lyceum Theatre.
