Cancer is the second leading cause of death for Canadians. Chances of defeating it are enhanced by gaining more information on the disease, consulting an oncologist, considering a clinical trial, getting sufficient support from friends and family and believing that the cancer shall pass.

Sparing the voice box

Article Abstract:

Dr. Gregory T. Wolf found an alternative treatment that saves the larynx in cancer cases. It uses both radiotherapy and chemotherapy instead of the usual surgical removal of the larynx.
