Article Abstract:

The Enola Gay exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum was the subject of debate between the American Legion and revisionist historians. The American Legion succeeded in having the aircraft displayed as a symbol of victory for the US and all World War II veterans.

Flag support, flood relief surges

Article Abstract:

The American Legion is actively soliciting support for a constitutional amendment that bans the desecration of the American flag. It also gives financial support to victims of flooding in the Ohio River Valley and along the borders of Minnesota and North Dakota.
