Good cops bad cops: learning from perps and dudes of Fox T.V

Article Abstract:

Fox 5's 'Cops' is describes as a marvelous acculturation tool. Aside from learning cop lingo such as perps (for perpetrators) and colloquialism such as dudes, its episodes are definitely of social scientific value. Episodes are always replete with diverse regional dialects, urban demography and social issues.
