Glendorn, once the private retreat of a Pennsylvania oil baron, has as its centerpiece the splendid 'Big House', which was built in the late 1920s entirely of redwood. The great room, a towering space with a two-story fireplace, exposed beams, cathedral ceiling, and plush furniture, is the social heart of Glendorn, where guests gather each evening for cocktails and conversation.
