The long-term growth being experienced by the US can be greatly attributed to the leadership of Pres Bill Clinton. Under the Clinton administration, the US is able to experience its longest peacetime economic expansion. In 1998, the US economy grew by 3.5% while inflation was pegged at 1.6%.
