Discussed here is a onetime Episcopal chapel, St. James-in-the-Woods on the edge of Somes Sound, A fjordlike bay that bisects Maine's Mount Desert Island. The way in which the owner Edward Libitzki with the help of his friend Rick Burne, an architectural engineer, now converts the chapel into a cozy home is presented.
