Days of the dead

Article Abstract:

The Japanese take time off each August to pay homage to their dearly departed. At this time of the year, people flock to the cemeteries to visit ancestral graves, praying on occasion, usually to ask for their ancestors' intercession, in the hope of that it would make a difference in their lives.

Cat owners usually treat their cats as children. The size, body warmth, and features of a grown cat approximate that of an infant. On the other hand, cat behavior also point to the other direction: cats treat their owners as kittens.
