One way to take better photos is to follow the instructions for the camera. Subjects should be neither too close nor too far away, and they should be posed in a creative way. A flash bulb is necessary only when the subjects are about 15 feet away or closer.

Parson Savage and his amazing horse

Little Dan Patch was a winning race horse purchased for the astronomical price of $60,000 in Dec 1902 by Marion Willis Savage. In 1906, Little Dan Patch ran an unofficial time of 1:55 for the mile to set a record which stood for more than 50 years.
