A study of teenagers who made abstinence pledges found that pledges ten to delay becoming sexually active but also had a negative impact in birth control. Promoting abstinence does not give teenagers useful information about sex.

These trials are intended to display the inhumanity of the Iraqi regime to the world, thus providing historical legitimacy to the conflict.
