A camp for all seasons

Article Abstract:

Architect Andrew Nychat of New Haven, Connecticut and his family who visit Marine's Mount Desert Island every summer decided to build a new camp as they needed more than offered by the original 1927 log-sided summer camp and the ramshackle log guest cabin that was built by Andrew's grandfather in the 1930s. They selected the site of the old guest cabin located 100 yard from the main camp and designed a 1,900-square foot, fully insulated building with radiant-heat flooring.
