Article Abstract:

The memorable experience of joining and singing in the Berkshire Choral Festival, a choral summer camp, is described. Intensive rehearsals were led by Nemhauser who is passionate about his work. The summer camp, which runs from July to mid-August, even attracts singers from out of the US.

A gardener describes her last visit to her garden before the first snowstorm of the season, which she can feel and smell in the air. She gathers potatoes, carrots, beets, leeks and parsley. She is making a stew as the snow begins to fall.
