Article Abstract:

Peter DeLeo along with his two friends Wave and Lloyd were flying in their Maule M-5 when it suddenly crashed in California's rugged Sierra NevadaEs, Inyo Mountains and Death Valley, not far from the Kern River with its frozen waterfalls. Peter is badly hurt in the crash but he survives for thirteen days in the snow and when he finally gets some help, it is too late as his other two friends Wave and Lloyd did not survive the snowstorm after he left.
