Rockefeller Center gardens division manager David P. Murbach is responsible for selecting the center's huge Christmas tree each year. The search begins early in the year, and the tree is cared for by hand all summer. A history of the center's Christmas decorations is included.

House of Guerlain perfumes have been popular since Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain made the first Guerlain fragrance in 1853. Shalimar, which is Jicky with vanilla, is perhaps the most famous. The business is still family-run and is based in Paris.
