World record set at Millennial auction

Article Abstract:

The wine collection of a Norwegian businessman, totalling 48,000 bottles, sold for $14.4 million in November 1999 at Sotheby's in New York, NY. $20,700 was paid for a bottle of Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1811.
