The seventh annual V Foundation Wine Celebration held in August 5-6 2005 in Napa, California raised $5,954,700 in auction bids, guests donations, and grant from ESPN to be donated to the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. The late Jimmy Valvano who was an NCAA Championship-winning basketball coach and ESPN sportscaster started the foundation.
