Monterey, CA, borders the Pacific Ocean. The city is well-known for its wines and attractions, as well as its accommodations. The Monterey valley has several wineries, but they are not as well known as the Sonoma and Napa county wineries. The wineries are located in Carmel Valley, Soledad and Monterey.
