A high performance deodorant which uses various fruit and vegetable extracts such as konjak, apples, grape, radish, and coconut has been developed by Time KK. This product eliminates the unpleasant odours which result from chemical reactions, and is effective against methyl mercaptans, amines, and ammonia, amongst other things. There is a spray variety which can be used in food preparation areas, and a product named Himawari Not Stink for retail sale. The company says that this deodorant has many applications in the food industry, including food production, distribution, storage, and in the food service industry.

QP Corp chose two-compartment DispenS packs for its Kewpie Pasta-no Tameno Oil Sauce Shoyu & Pepper, which contains cooked pasta and sauce. It is priced at [yen] 130 for 60 ml (two compartments of 30 ml each). The sauce contains tamari soy sauce, kombu kelp, fried onions, black pepper and bonito. In order to empty the contents of the pack, one just bends it back with one hand; one's hands and clothing are not soiled.
