La Paulee de Meursault tradition began in 1932 and continues today. Approximately 100 Burgundian winemakers and their families gather for a meal and a chance to share their best wines. The event is open to the public. The 1995 celebration is described.

'90 Romanee-Conti carries $900 price tag

Domaine de la Romanee-Conti grand cru Burgundy will sell for an all-time high of $900 a bottle upon its release in Feb 1993. The renowned winery has had pricing and distributions problems in the past that led to a shakeup at the domaine.
