Violinist Young Uck Kim has a 1,000-bottle collection of Bordeaux, California and Italian wine. Kim says that wine is his way of relaxing, and he enjoys finding wine bargains and trusts his own tastes rather than critics'. He divides his collection between an apartment in Manhattan, one in Paris, and his manager's home in Brooklyn.

Article Abstract:

Jim Davis,cartoonist, famous as the inventor of Garfield the cat, is less well known for his collection of 8,000 fine wines. Since 1982, he is also owner of an up market restaurant in Muncie, Indiana, which houses a 9,000 strong wine cellar.

Article Abstract:

A&E Television Networks executive Whitney Goit II had to rebuild his wine collection after his divorce. As well as French wines Goit's second collection displays more variety and includes wines from across the world.
