1787 Rodenstock Lafite fails a test; authenticity of Jefferson bottle questioned

Article Abstract:

A rare 1787 Chateau Lafite was considered a fraud by German testers, who determined that the actual content of the bottle was a wine made after 1960. The seller, Rodenstock, states that the bottle must have been tampered with after he sold it.
