Socks are ideal materials for ribbed cuffs or jacket collars, offering a wide range of color and texture choices. Their ankle-and-up portion can be used as cuffs while the unribbed foot portion can be used for collars. Socks whose ribbing remains stretchy and pill-free are great for the job.
