A woman only recently discovered that she was not the only one in her family to suffer from anorexia nervosa. She is disconcerted by the thought that she had failed to recognize the symptoms of this eating disorder in her grandmother who developed it in the late 1940s or early 1950s.

A man's anguish over his sister's eating disorder called Anorexia is narrated. The sister was cured through family-counselling, nine-week hospitalization and the love and support she received from her whole family.
