Article Abstract:

Babies both learn to crawl and also master the art of sitting upright at the same developmental stage. Crawling is a problem-solving strategy for babies, not a developmental stage per se. Parents therefore should not be concerned if their infant is slow to learn to crawl.

Article Abstract:

Infants are highly responsive to their environment. A technical analysis of a baby's sense of sight, hearing, smell, and taste is given. Parents can observe development in their babies if they are aware of how the infants view the world from a sensory point of view.
