Birth control after the baby

Article Abstract:

Contraception should be instituted following birth to reduce the risk of an unplanned pregnancy. Some of the birth control methods available to new mothers are oral contraceptives, condoms, cervical caps, intrauterine device, fertility awareness methods and sterilization.

A mother describes how her husband's interest in their child intensified when he turned one. Her husband became a big baby himself in an effort to have his son imitate and interact with him. The mother finds she gets more freedom as the father and son grow closer.
