Environmental Action's (EA) new executive director shares her concern over the future of fair methods of allocating the earth's precious natural resources. She believes that EA's ability to keep its own bureaucracy to a minimum has enabled it to sustain the cause of environmental justice.

On the road from Earth Day: Environmental Action looks toward its roots to shape the future

Article Abstract:

Environmental Action can look back on its accomplishments in the past 23 years and feel great pride in in motivating the public to support action, legislation and sympathetic lawmakers, judges and public officials. Its future depends upon increased corporate responsibility.

Ending the envelope of no return

Article Abstract:

The Solid Wastes Alternatives Project of the Environmental Action Foundation is requesting companies to use 'two-way' recyclable envelopes. The envelope doubles as a return envelope. Bills and direct mail usually amount to 6,000 tons of waste a year.
