Article Abstract:
Comparisons between deer mice populations of short-season environments and temperate environments revealed no distinct population variability for either type. Research was conducted on Peromyscus maniculatus populations in the Kananaskis Valley of Alberta, Canada, from 1979 to 1997.

Article Abstract:
Research on the Asiatic wild ass shows that the presence of a dominance hierarchy is the primary factor in determining the species' progeny sex ratio. If a dominance hierarchy has a low impact on maternal condition, the progeny sex ratio variation will then be influenced by age.
