List categories cover GE-free foods, companies that are eliminating GE ingredients, and companies continuing to use GE ingredients, such as Kellogg's and General Mills.

An update is presented on the Greenpeace campaign to increase public awareness of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the national food supply. Dangers can include plant and animal mortality; the campaign includes a web site and a mobile information van which provides literature at designated stops.

An overview is presented on the discovery of genetically engineered StarLink corn in Kellogg Co. products. The corn, which is not legalized for human consumption, was found in Kellogg's vegetarian corn dogs; the corn contains Cry9C, a protein that can provoke anaphylaxis in some people.
