Article Abstract:
A lumped-parameter model is used to calculate the effects of acidic deposition levels on surface water chemistry for Ontario, Canada's Killarney Park lakes. Forecast scenarios generated by the model for different future deposition rates are analyzed, and show a great potential for water quality improvement.

Article Abstract:
A model is presented to assess what is needed for biological recovery in lakes and what steps are required to meet those needs. This model is applied to the Northern Lakes Recovery Study, a joint Canadian/Norwegian project that monitored and assessed water quality in Ontario's Killarney Park lakes.
