Article Abstract:

Repair, refinement, renovation and reinvention are the four Re's of total organizational improvement. All the strategies can be used to improve systems, processes, products and organizational activities, and to enhance customer satisfaction. Simultaneous use of the four strategies and selection of the strategy on the basis of the situation are essential for achieving optimal improvement. All employees need to be involved in executing the strategies. Various aspects of the four Re's and a step-by-step approach to selecting, integrating and using the strategies are discussed.
