McLennan Servo Supplies has produced the PM600 sub-400 Eurocard Digiloop controller which has two analogue inputs, eight digital on/off inputs and outputs, RS485 and RS232 capability and a very quick processer. The PM546 stepper drive is a suitable amplifier module for the PM600. The PM600 is particularly useful for machinery which needs to be positioned precisely in a very short time period, such as weapons aiming equipment. It is able to read information up to one million pulses per second.
