Networking in harmony

Article Abstract:

Waveform or voltage distortion is a problem which occurs when electrical loads are non-linear, thus creating a cumulative effect. This effect can also cause hardware damage, overheating, mistiming and voltage instability in alternators. To overcome this problem, a reduction of the generated harmonic currents and limitation of the harmonic voltage drops which are generated within the distribution is necessary.
