Executives need to focus not only on ensuring employee satisfaction, but also on ensuring that employees can work towards a business target. It is important to set a target and to obtain employee feedback on the best way to reach it. Performance standards must be in place, and all employees must be responsible for reaching them.

When a company's quality program seems to deteriorate, workers must maintain their commitment to quality performance. The lack of substantial supervision should not hinder the organization's enhancement program. Awareness coupled with dedication result in successful quality improvement.
