Internet searching methods and keeping up with search engines are discussed. Google is fairly new and a favorite, though it has some limitations. It has a secret algorithm for popularity of sites based on link popularity. It allows searching to see what sites point to a given page. It can take a while for new sites to be linked to by authoritative sites and thus ranked high, recognized for excellence. Basic search tips for Google and AltaVista are offered.
