Article Abstract:
A nationwide survey conducted by the Gateway Information Services reveals long-term out-sourcing contracts as disadvantageous to manufacturers. Instead of cutting down company expenses, the practice proves to be an expensive investment. The survey findings also show the continuing retrenchment in the data processing business, the exorbitant costs of data processing as well as a profile on customers.
