Article Abstract:
Japan's motor vehicle dealers report an increase in 2000 sales of car electronics equipment, specifically DVD car navigation systems and combinations of CD and MiniDisc players for car use. Both kinds of equipment are posting double-digit advances from 1999 figures. The rise in sales of car audio and TV systems may be a ripple effect of the strong sales of DVD-Video equipment.
