Duke Power says new mobile simulator will save a bundle

Duke Power will use a new PC-based simulator to train the operators of coal-fired stations. Simulators once cost between $2-4 million each, but new simulators cost $500-700,000. The simulator training is expected to generate more than $175 million in operational savings.
