Almost one quarter LCD TVs outsourced

A market research report revealed that 23% of the 20.1 million LCD TV units shipped in the third quarter of 2007 were manufactured by external original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Certain brands outsourced 100% of their LCD TV set manufacturing, and intend to increase their outsourcing shares. Other results of the research are also presented.
