Majority of audio equipment manufacturers are still hesitant to sell their products through the Internet despite the undisputed success of electronic commerce. Microsoft Corp may have lost in the antitrust case presided by US District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson. Judge Jackson's initial findings show that the software company holds a monopoly over a relevant segment of the computer market and is guilty of using its operating system supremacy to thwart the development of other software and Internet developers. If these findings are reflected on the final decision of the court, Microsoft may be broken up into separate companies.
