The company is projecting further growth with increased orders from the local distribution industry, in which it commands a 40% market share, and a boost in exports, which accounts for 30% of its total sales.

Pioneer Electronic Corp is marketing the B-Max communications karaoke system in Asia after investing 3.2 billion yen in expanding its music library. The investment enabled the production of 8,500 songs in Pekingese, Cantonese, English and Korean, which are to be used with the communications karaoke. The company is in the process of testing the distribution system for the B-Max, which will ship songs from Japan on CD- ROMs.
