Industrial usage will increase with economic upturn, remain at about 40% of sales, but with a new customer mix. Residential sales will remain flat due to consumer energy conservation methods and energy efficient appliances. Commerical sales also remain unchanged. Peak demand will grow at 3% with capital expenditures spent on transmission and distribution instead of generation facilities.

The North American Electric Reliability Council's report, '1992 Summer Assessment of the Reliability of Bulk Electric Supply, reveals that the peak demand for electricty will increase by 2.1% over 1991 levels. Transmission facilities that will be serviced in the summer of 1992 are detailed.
