Japan Telecom Company Ltd, Nissan Motor Company Ltd and AirTouch International will form a joint venture, to be called IMT-2000 Planning Company Ltd, that will provide telecommunications services using broadband code division multiple access technology. The joint venture, which is still subject for approval by Japan's Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, will have a 200 million yen in capital and will be based in Tokyo, Japan.

In the section featuring advanced technologies, visitors saw fluorocarbons free car air conditioners and hybrid vehicle that combine fuel cell with conventional technologies.
