Students rally to root out race hate

Article Abstract:

African-American students make up only four percent of the student body at Pennsylvania State University, where a series of racist incidents took place during the 2000/2001 academic year. The 2001/2002 academic year began with a series of anti-racist sit-ins, and the university's Black Caucus and a group called The Village are organizing a national rally against hatred and racism.

Students spark drive for a punctual Peru

Article Abstract:

Students paraded in the streets of Peru, chanting benefits of punctuality in accordance with the government's campaign against public administrators to be punctual. The students were inspired to carry out such a march when they were promoted to work upon the improvement of industries in Peru that lose 3 billion working hours due to no punctuality.

Commute tires Tokyo students

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning the amount of daily travelling Japanese students from Tokyo have to undertake in order to attend their courses are discussed. Particular attention is given to the students' living conditions in the context where they have to pay high tuition fees.
