Article Abstract:

An analysis of the ongoing debate surrounding the issue of abortion. It is argued that science should not be involved in the question of who should and who should not continue a pregnancy, and that if science does try to get involved in the issue then it will only result in the production of bad science and bad law.

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the likely economic impact of Indian Ocean tsunami and ways to help the region deal with its problems. It is argued that the suggestion made by Chancellor Gordon Brown, that the debt burden of the effected countries be frozen, is vital if the region's economy is to be rebuilt.
