Article Abstract:

Some of the academics, who take part in leading cultural tours, point out they are enjoyable as many of the participants are very knowledgable and interested in the subject. Others point out they are able to use the tours for research or to gain experiences they could never afford to take. The tour leaders have to be prepared to cope with problems, such as the ill-health of one of their party or difficulties with their accommodation. The tour leaders receive around 100-200 pounds sterling per day.

Garden of life under glass

Article Abstract:

The Eden Project near St Austell in Cornwall is a vast botanical garden which aims to demonstrate to the public the vital need to conserve the world's plants. Huge glass domes will house thousands of species from all over the globe in a project with a clear scientific message.
