Article Abstract:

The North Shore Economic Development Commission and the Sea to Sky Economic Development Commission are two small economic development offices in British Columbia, Canada. The former is in an urban area while the latter is in a rural community. Some examples are the of radio to disseminate information about projects and accomplishments, using computer screen savers to advertise projects and using CD-ROMS as storage medium for photographs of people and places that are of interest to investors.
