Article Abstract:

The statistical data for the small business employment from the year 1998 to year 2003 are presented. Labor shortages peaked in 2000, and it was rated as a major problem by 24 percent of people surveyed but there was practically no gain in total employment due lot of turnover.

Article Abstract:

The statistical data for the small business capital outlays from the year 1998 to year 2003 are presented. Capital outlays witnessed strong gains in the manufacturing and construction sectors and capital spending plans were up by 30 percent in 2003.
