Article Abstract:

The survey details of National Federation of Independent Business on small business economic trends, which show growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), creating new jobs, capital spending, inventories, inflation, profits and wages and credit markets for, June 2005 are discussed. The monthly trend of sales, earnings, prices, employment, job openings, hiring plans, compensation plans, credits, inventories, capital expenditures from 2000 to 2005 are illustrated. The survey profile is also presented.

Article Abstract:

Results of a survey conducted in November 2003 in the United States by the National Federation of Independent Business Owners (NFIB), based on questionnaires sent to its members, indicate the outlook for small businesses. Fifty-one percent of those who responded expected the economy to strengthen over the following six months and five percent expected the economy to weaken.
