Article Abstract:

Trade dispute outcomes for developing nations are assessed by measuring trade liberalization gains under the General Agreement on Tariffs/World Trade Organization and Trade dispute settlement process. Retaliatory threats by developing countries and guilty rulings by GATT/WTO panels are also examined. Strategies used by developing nations engaged in disputes are discussed.

Article Abstract:

Foreign direct investment in Mexico has increased due to the North American Free Trade Agreement, liberalization of economic policy, and political reform. Foreign direct investment and the North American Free Trade Agreement are found to have contributed to economic growth in Mexico.

Trade liberalisation and wage inequality: lessons from the Mexican experience

Article Abstract:

Wage inequality is found to be caused by the liberalization of economic policy , investment in technology companies, and an increased demand for skilled labor. Additionally, an increased investment in education, would benefit the workforce, economy, and overall the equality of wages.
